Sustainable Indigo: Our Journey to Waterless Dyeing
Traditional indigo dyeing is one of the most water-intensive processes in denim manufacturing. A single meter of denim can require up to 10 liters of water just in the dyeing stage alone.
Our R&D division has spent two years developing and refining a foam-dyeing process that applies indigo dye using a controlled foam application system rather than conventional dip-and-oxidize baths.
Results from our pilot line: - 65% reduction in water consumption per meter - 50% reduction in chemical usage - Consistent shade reproducibility across production runs - No compromise on wash-down performance or color fastness
We are currently scaling this technology across our main production lines and expect full deployment by Q4 2026.
